Farewell to a Friend of the District

It saddened me to learn that Jim Angelo passed away on May 19, 2025.
Jim was, without question, the non-firefighter most enthusiastically engaged with the Dunn’s Corners Fire District. He attended almost every District Annual Meeting and many Operating Committee meetings for the last 15-20 years. I spoke with him often during my time on the Operating Committee. He was never reluctant to ask us the hard questions that needed to be asked, but he equally appreciated when we were able to provide thoughtful answers. Jim was passionate about good government and brought a lifetime of experience to bear on our District operations.
I will personally miss Jim and I'm certain the District will miss his valuable contributions.
