DCFD Responds to One Car MVA on Shore Road

At 8:27 PM the Dunn's Corners Fire Department along with Westerly Police and Westerly Ambulance responded to a one car motor vehicle accident on Shore Road. The vehicle rolled over and landed against a stone wall. The single occupant, who had been wearing a seatbelt, was able to self-extricate. At the same time, the DCFD was toned out to a fire alarm activation on Verdi Road, which turned out to be smoke backed up from the fireplace chimney. (Engine 6, Tower Five, and Cars 9 and 13 responded to the Verdi Road call.)
