| Santa Claus took some time out of his busy schedule today and made a visit to Station 1. He arrived in town with his sleigh and reindeer around 1400 and called Chief Frink and asked if Engine 6 could give him a lift to the Station. Firefighters Rusty Pearce and Jeff Bewlay took Engine 6 to town, picked up Santa Claus, and drove him back to Station 1 where there were lots of good little boys and girls.
The kids were excited upon his arrival! Santa Claus called up each child and asked them if they have been good and what they wanted for Christmas. Santa Claus had a present for each child and also gave them a candy cane. Soon after, he wished everyone a Merry Christmas and he was off to return to his sleigh and reindeer so he could make his trip back to the North Pole. He's got lots of work to do before Christmas arrives. After Santa Claus left, the kids enjoyed some punch and Christmas treats.
