**ELECTRICAL FIRE**

**ELECTRICAL FIRE** At 5:55am Westerly Dispatch notified DCFD of a Box Alarm at Dunn’s Corners Elementary School. Upon arrival Engine 4 and Car 1 went to the panel and found an activated alarm in the basement. Upon investigation crews were met with a heavy smoke condition in the basement. Car 1 struck a 1st alarm assignment, bringing Ladder 1 and Engine 2 from Westerly Fire Department, a RIT team from Ashaway Volunteer Fire Association and 2 Westerly Ambulances. The fire was contained to elevator equipment room. Crews ventilated the structure and checked the first and second floors for any additional hazards. Units cleared in just under 2 hours.
