DCFD Training in Acquired Building in Quonnie Central Beach

On April 7th the Dunn's Corners Fire Department acquired a structure scheduled for demolition at 140 Oceanview Avenue, located in the Quonochontaug Central Beach area of Charlestown. DCFD firefighters had the opportunity to conduct hands-on drills on a variety of topics including vertical ventilation, roof building materials, specialty nozzles (piercing & cellar), basement self rescue techniques, cement wall breaches and Tower operations.
A special thank you to Michael & Joy Millette for donating the building to DCFD for training.
Dunn's Corners Fire Department welcomes any future opportunities to train in acquired structures scheduled for demolition.
