Engine 4’s interior crews using thermal image cameras quickly identified fire in the walls, gained acces and began to extinguish the fire. Engine 5 established water supply at a nearby hydrant and Engine 6 supplied additional manpower. Tower 5’s crew using chimney chains cleared the chimney fire and creosol build up working from the tower ladder. Extensive overhaul took place to ensure all hotspots were extinguished. Great teamwork by all DCFD members making this quick fire stop!
