On 3/13 at apporoximately8:30 PM, Westerly Dispatch summoned the Misquamicut Fire Department to a reported structure fire on Breach Drive in their fire district. Police on scene confirmed fire showing. Misquamicut Chief Lou Misto (201) had DCFD toned out for one engine to respond to the scene.

Engine 6 responded in approximately 90 seconds with a full crew. Upon arrival, E6 crews laddered the building to gain access to the attic and had a backup line charged at the ready.

Misquamicut crews knocked the fire down relatively quickly, and within a short time after that, DCFD picked up and was cleared from the scene at approximately 9:15 PM.

Misquamicut had a full response to the scene, and remained for mop-up.
