| Our annual award's banquet was held last weekend on Saturday, March 21st. The event took place at Venice Restaurant (165 Shore Road) and the entertainment was provided by Jam Session. About 55 people were in attendance and included local fire chiefs and district officers from the Dunn's Corners Fire District.
Chief Mike Frink and Safety / Training Officer Harold Stedman presented various individuals with awards. The awards and their recipient are listed below:

Top Jr. Responder - Liz Schilke
Top Sr. Responder - Chris Wells
Top Jr. Training Award - Marissa Stedman

Extra Mile Award - Lieutenant Matt Harris
Officer of the Year - Lieutenant Carl Johnson
Many local businesses made charitable donations for our banquet and these were used in our raffle. A special thanks to Maria (Venice Restaurant) and Joe (Jam Session) for a job well done! All in all everyone attending had a good time and we are looking forward to next year's banquet! |
