The Dunn’s Corners Fire Department would like to remind Charlestown residents within the Dunn's Corners Fire District that the Charlestown Ambulance Rescue Service (CARS) is currently accepting subscriptions to their service for the April 2015 through March 2016 time-frame. A subscription membership costs a modest $60.00 per household per year and entitles you to emergency and certain routine ambulance service as rendered by CARS (details of services provided are detailed on the subscription cards).

Subscription cards have been mailed out to all Charlestown residents. If you failed to receive one or have misplaced it, you can pick one up at the CARS Station at 4891 Old Post Road, across the street from the entrance to Ninigret Park. Or if it’s more convenient, a small number of subscription cards have been placed in the lobby at Dunn’s Corners Fire Department Station 1 at 1 Langworthy Road, Westerly; please note that week-day day shift is the time you are most likely to encounter someone at Station 1 who can let you in to pick up a card.
